有一年(2014)的德國交換生蜜亞因為很喜歡杏仁瓦片,跟我要食譜,於是我特地為她將中文食譜翻譯成英文,不知她回到德國後是否有重溫這款當年在台灣課堂上學到的美味餅乾?

Method 1. Place unsalted butter and sugar in a large bowl above a pot of hot water heating to melt. When butter melted completely(but maybe sugar will not) , then leave the hot water, whisk gently to cool, then add the (whole egg + protein), and whisk gently until blended, without too much force . 2. Sieve the (all-purpose flour + cornstarch ) directly to Step 1, then whisk irregular until blended, then add almonds, mix gently with a rubber spatula. 3. Use a fork to spread the batter onto the baking sheet , each to 6 centimeters circle, and gently pat the batter smooth surface with a fork, the thinner the better (a piece of almond thickness of the sheet) 4. Bake in centre of 170°C(or 180 °C/150°C) oven, until light brown, about 10 minutes(or 15 minutes). Transfer to rack; let cool completely and store in airtight container immediately. |
